Secret of Surah Al-Kahf

Ever wondered why Prophet Muhammad(SAW) asked us to recite Surat Al-Kahf every Friday?

Let’s find out today inshaAllah… 

This Surah has Four stories in it,having some morals,lets see them and understand what they are saying to us:

1) The People Of The Cave

Its the story of young men who lived in a disbelieving town, so they decided to migrate for the sake of Allah and run away. -Allah rewards them with mercy in the cave and protection from the sun - They woke up and found the entire village believers. 

MORAL:TRIAL OF FAITH.

2) The Owner Of Two Gardens

A story of a man whom Allah blessed with two beautiful gardens, but the man forgot to thank the One who blessed him with everything and he even dared to doubt Allah regarding the afterlife.So His garden was destroyed - He regretted ,but was too late and his regret did not benefit him .

MORAL:TRIAL OF WEALTH.

3) Musa(AS) and Khidr(AS)

When Musa(AS) was asked-“Who’s the most knowledgeable of the people of earth?”” Musa(AS) said:Me…,but Allah revealed to him that there’s someone who Knows more than him.Musa(AS) traveled to the man and learnt how the Divine Wisdom can sometimes be hidden in matters which we perceive as bad.

MORAL:TRIAL OF KNOWLEDGE.

4) Dhul-Qarnayn

Its a story of the great King that was given knowledge and power and was going around the world,helping people and spreading all that’s good.He was able to overcome the problem of Yajooj-Majooj and build a massive dam with the help of people whom he could not even understand.

MORAL:TRIAL OF POWER

In the middle Allah mentions Iblees as the one who stirs these trials:

Behold! We said to the angels “Bow down to Adam”: they bowed down except Iblis. He was one of the Jinns, and he broke the Command of his Lord. Will ye then take him and his progeny as protectors rather than Me? And they are enemies to you! Evil would be the exchange for the wrongdoers!

Now let us see what’s the relationship between Surat Al-Kahf and the Dajjal (Anti-Christ)? 

Dajjal will appear before Day of Judgement with the 4 trials: 

***He’ll ask people to worship him and not Allah:

Trial of Faith .

***He’ll be given powers to start/stop rain and tempt people with his wealth:

Trial of with his wealth. .

***He’ll trial people with the “knowledge” and news he gives them:

Trial of Knowledge .

He’ll control huge parts of the Earth. 

Trial of Power .

How to survive these trials? The answers are in Surat Al-Kahf ..

1: Good companionship --> Surat Al-Kahf, verse 28

2 : Knowing the Truth of this World -->Surat Al-Kahf, verse 45

3: Humbleness -->Surat Al-Kahf, verse 69

4: Sincerity -->Surat Al- Kahf, verse 110

5: Calling to Allah -->Surat Al-Kahf, verse 27

6: Remembering the HereAfter -->Surat Al-Kahf, verses 47-49

Okeh, sekarang semua dah tahu kepentingan surah al-kahf kan?^^ Semoga anda semua lebih menghayati tadabbur anda! Dan juga selamat beramal \(^_^)/

1. Selepas solat Isyak, ambil air segelas, baca Al-Fatihah 1 kali, Ayatul Qursi 1 kali, dan Surah Al-Waqiah ayat 35-38 sebanyak 7 kali.

Sesungguhnya Kami telah

menciptakan isteri-isteri

mereka dengan ciptaan

istimewa, (Al-Waaqi'ah

56:35)

Serta Kami jadikan

mereka sentiasa dara

(yang tidak pernah

disentuh), (Al-Waaqi'ah

56:36)

Yang tetap mencintai

jodohnya, serta yang

sebaya umurnya. (Al-

Waaqi'ah 56:37)

(Semuanya itu disediakan) bagi puak kanan;

2. Tiup dalam air dan minum.

3. Niat dalam hati untuk menjaga kecantikan diri dan kebahagiaan rumahtangga.

Khabarkan kepada kaum ibu dan isteri-isteri semoga ada manfaatnya.

Eh Jun dah ke sekarang? Bukan Jun je lagi. Tapi dah pertengahan Jun. Allah. . 

cepatnyaa masaaa. . . . banyaknye benda yg berlaku dalam waktu terdekat nih. budak2 batch 1994 sumee da start masuk alam baruu. same goes to my sister. pandai daa buat assignent bagai. hahah. tp mmg satu berita yg mengejutkan jugak bila dia pun akan turut fly bersama2 dgn sy tahun INI. okay tahun ini. besar rezeki muu deekk :') Alhamdulillah3, u've prove it syg. Dah berjaya realisasikan impian akak yg duluu. Teringin nak bljr medic kt timur tengah. *touching sikit* :') dan budak junior sekolah dlu. Perkara yg mmg da agak la. TSNI naek lagi yeaaahh, jom bangga kejap jd rakyat TSNI hehe :') bukan calang2 dapat buat IB (the most toughest preparation) dekat KMB untuk buat Medic. Well done mirfa :') Nanti kalau akak ade duit lebih, nak lawat UK boleh? Ok berangan hehe :DD

Dalam masa yg sama gak, adek2 yg laen puun, xkesa duduk kt mana2 tempat pun selepas tamat zaman persekolahan tuu, korang berjaya dgn diri masing2 da sebenarnya. Dalam negara ke, luar negara ke, sama jee serious, yg penting diri kita :) Korang pun da usaha yg terbaek kan? bersyukur dengan apa yg kita da dapat. Because He knows best! :') Rezeki setiap org berlainan Dia bg. Takmo sedihh2. Dia da susun jalan cerita yg terbaek utk adek2 semua :') Mungkin klau xsekarang, akan datang ke, sape tahu kan? ^^. Kita lah yg menentukan future kita drpd sekarang dgn usaha dan doa insyaAllah. Like me, dulu nak medic sangat3, tp rupanya Allah da susun n tunjukkan sekarang, akak xleh medic senanye, hook tuu g pindah chemistry tuu. Medic xleh, lecturer boleh insyaAllah. Haha *berangan lagi*

Medical checkup, amek gmbr, isi ds160, kuar masuk duet kt bank, visa interview, arranging class purdue, declare tututut, shopping, jumpa2 sesape yg nk djumpa sblum g, project book, pre-departure, abeskan bace buku yg beli xbace2 kt uma ni. . etc etc. . bulan 8. . .

seriously xde ape yg nk dibanggakn pun study oversea. Sebab kita sama je semua sebagai hamba sedang memperjuangkan benda yg sama iaitu menuntut ilmu :')

Ada apa bulan Mei?

In my life, May should be the most valuable and noticeable month for me. But unfortunately, I found that yearly, it becomes the month that has lost its specialty. I find that the other months are able to make me happier and cheerier than in May. Truthfully I don't know why is that happening.

Like what I've been feeling today. 

I felt I am such a worthless. This is bad :'(

Could I say that I hate May?

I am sorry my dear month. .

A very nice useful advice from Dr. Mastura, in his lecture: make yourself imagine when you are already there. Expect all the possibilities that would come out. Be it positive or negative thing. Plan the solution for the negative aspects. So, that when you are there, you already aware with what you need to do and somehow you will feel like you've been experiencing it before. And that's because you've prepare for everything. 

Like her example, before she performed her umrah/haji, she had been thinking for all the things that would possibly happened there such as toilets pack with people. And so, she had plan the strategies. She has set everything in mind, 'That's fine, she will wake up early in the morning in order to use the toilets'. When she has been there, the thing is exactly happened and yes she felt it, 'i've been experiencing it before'. Hence, she managed to handle it well. With happily no stress. So, she taught us to do the same thing too. In order for us not experiencing the culture shock in the States. InsyaAllah.

So yeaah Dila, what else u've been waiting for. Start expecting all the possibilities.

3 months to go. . Why it is so fast ya Allah.

Alhamdulillah kini 6 universiti yg diapply, semua dah cakap 'accept2'.

Kecuali Ohio State University yg incomplete lg document nya. Sedihh2. 

Da takde mood na completekan. Hee.

Dan sekarang dlm dilemma utk memilih samada Purdue/West Virginia University

Tunjukkan aku ya Allah.

Universiti mana yg terbaik utk aku hidup selama 3tahun ni nanti.

Terbaik daripada segala jenis aspek.

Kawan, Persekitaran, Study, Cuaca, Makanan Halal, Kesihatan, etc.

Sesungguhnya Engkau Yang Maha Mengetahui Ya Rab.

de tahun lagi juga, insyaAllah.

Semoga apa yg dirancang terlaksana dengan baik.

Pandu kami Ya Allah.

Semoga tempoh tersebut cukup utk preparation pada hari yang mendatang.

Semoga kami belajar, nampak dan sedar banyak perkara.
